What do these 6 universities have in common?
- Arizona State University Sun Devils
- Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils and Devilettes
- McDaniel College Green Terror
- Northwestern State University Demons and Lady Demons
- Trinity Christian College Trolls
- Wake Forest University Demon Deacons
They are all represented by mascots that I would suggest are truly evil. In particularly, I don’t understand the formerly Baptist Wake Forest having a Deacon that is a Demon as their mascot. In today’s society, it almost sounds reminiscient of clergy sexual abuse.
If someone were to suggest that devils and demons are male, Northwestern State and Mississippi Valley State have represented both genders with the Lady Demons and Devilettes, respectively.
The Green Terror and (Blue Troll) look like they might be related with some distant family member. And can anyone explain why the Arizona State Sun Devil has a mustache similar to Hitler’s?
